A new page has been created for "SPECIAL SKATERS", I have covered many Special Skaters on other pages either in National placements or by Skating Club. Now and then I receive great pictures of a skater who was taken from us very early in life. This is not the first time, and I have used all of the pictures received of other special skaters on other pages. This page starts with Diane Coretti, started skating at age 8 in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. and then went on to Levittown. Diane Skated Singles, Pairs and Dance, medalled many times. Diane passed away in 1994 and if you take a moment and think of all the skaters we have lost in the past 25 to 30 years who should still be with us today, be thankful. When the call comes out to rekindle friendships that last a lifetime, come out and join in.
